The core component of Centric. Skills can be acquired by a user in a number of ways. Skills can be associated with a badge or certificate and as users acquire new skills they can view their skill portfolio. Skills are also a way of identifying trainers on the system. A user with a valid trainer skill will be visible in the trainer listings.

 Skills can be added to a course or module and when a user meets the required criteria the user will be awarded that particular skill.
